How does the Ping Subscription Program work?
Ping subscription is a service that lends you a Gaming PC at an affordable monthly rate without being locked into a long-term commitment and the freedom to cancel at any time. You are guaranteed to always have a working Gaming PC during your subscription, so any issues or defects that arise will be solved at no additional cost.
In addition to the hardware guarantee, you will also receive regular refresh upgrades every two years.
How is this Ping subscription different from financing or a rent-to-own program?
It is a subscription service, different from a financing or a rent-to-own program. Subscribers do not own the PC and do not have to commit to paying its full value. Subscriptions are not loans- you do not incur any debt or pay any interest.
What’s included with the Ping Subscription program?
Ping subscription includes a brand new or like-new Gaming PC, Business hours support, and a product guarantee for as long as you keep your subscription active. After two years, you will be eligible for a system upgrade at no extra cost.
Currently, there are no peripherals or accessories included.
What if I have an issue with my Subscription PC? Is functionality guaranteed?
Yes, all Ping Subscription Gaming PCs come with a hardware guarantee for as long as your subscription is active and your payments are current. If the device breaks, doesn't perform as expected, or is defective just let us know and help you get it working.
Do I have full Administrator control over the Subscription PC? Can I install software without restrictions?
Yes, all subscription systems will be delivered restored to factory settings. This will be a full Windows account with Administrator level access which will allow you to install and update drivers, software, etc. Ping does not restrict the software that can be installed on Ping PCs.
Do you access the PC data or keep it after I return the Subscription PC?
No, we do not keep, share, or sell any personal data stored on Ping PCs. Furthermore, all such data is securely deleted as part of our standard data-wiping procedures when a device is collected. This ensures that none of your personal files, accounts, or information remain on the device.
I received a replacement Ping Subscription PC, but all of my data is gone. How can I retrieve my files?
As part of the Ping Subscription warranty, you may receive a different PC rather than the one that is originally collected in for service. Due to this, any data on your original PC will be wiped and will not be recoverable. We highly recommend keeping regular external backups for any important files on the PC either through an external removable drive (USB Drive, External HDD/SSD) or via a cloud storage service (OneDrive, Google Drive, iCloud, etc.).
How does payment for my Ping Subscription work? Can I change my payment method?
Your Ping subscription will renew automatically each month. You must keep an active payment method on your account at all times, ensuring that the necessary funds are present and there are no holds on the card. You may update your payment method by logging into your subscription account at https://portal.subi.co/.
Am I paying for my subscription before I receive the product?
Your first payment is captured when your subscription is approved, which occurs before the PC is received. Because delivery typically takes 1-2 working days, we offer a 3-day grace period after your subscription ends. This extra time compensates for the initial delivery delay,giving you a full 3 days to prepare the PC for collection.
Are there eligibility requirements to subscribe to Ping Subscription?
Yes, you must be at least 18 years old to subscribe.
To keep everything secure, we just need to do a quick ID check when we drop off your PC. Our delivery team will ask to see your physical ID card to make sure it matches the name on your order and that we are delivering to the correct address and a signature would be required.
Am I required to keep the PC Packaging? What if I lose mine?
Yes, please keep the original box and packing materials the PC is delivered in as this is designed to protect the product during delivery. If you need to end your subscription and you have lost or disposed of the original packaging, an additional fee for replacement packing materials will be applied.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your month-to-month subscription at any time. You have two easy ways to do this:
- Self-Service: Sign in to our customer portal at https://portal.subi.co/ using the email address from your order.
- Contact Support: Message us directly on WhatsApp at +356 77509105 or email us at support@ping.com.mt.
Once your subscription is successfully cancelled, our team will reach out to schedule a date and time for collection. We provide a 3-day grace period for you to prepare the PC for our team to pick it up.
Will I receive a prorated refund when cancelling my Ping Subscription?
No, all Ping subscriptions run on a full-month billing cycle, meaning we do not offer prorated refunds. If you cancel early, you can continue to use and keep your PC until the end of your current billing period.
What is the 2-Year Refresh?
After being an active Ping subscriber for 24 months, you may be eligible for a 2-Year Refresh. This allows you to exchange your current PC to a refreshed PC at no additional cost under your current subscription, as long as your account is active and in good standing with no unpaid balances. It’s our way of keeping your system current, reliable, and ready for what’s next — with a simple process to make the swap as seamless as possible.
When do I become eligible for a 2-Year Refresh?
You become eligible 24 months after the delivery of your Ping PC, and then 24 months after your most recent refresh. To qualify, your subscription must be active and in good standing with no unpaid balances.
How will I know when I’m eligible?
We will reach out to you via E-mail or WhatsApp.
What kind of PC will I swap to with my refresh?
The Gaming PC will be swapped with the latest PC in the tier you are currently subscribed to (for example, Ping One). The new PC will be built using the current year's component specifications for your subscribed tier.
Do I have to use my 2-Year Refresh?
No, participation is optional. You can defer and choose to refresh at another point in the future, or decline altogether.
Will my subscription cost or terms change with a refresh?
No, your subscription cost and terms will stay the same. The 2-Year Refresh is included at no extra charge as part of your ongoing Ping subscription.
